On Monday 11th November, at the War Memorial Museum in Canberra was held Remembrance Day Service to mark the 95th traditional reminder of the day when the Armistice in the World War I was concluded.

The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and her husband Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, President of the Senate of the French Republic Senator Jean Pier Bell, spokesman for the Premier Tony Abbott and Minister for Veterans Affairs Mr Michael Ronaldson, Chief Minister for the Australian Capital Territory government Ms Katy Gallagher, the President of the Senate in the Australian Parliament Senator the Hon John Hogg, in-Chief of the Australian army General David Harley and superintendants of land, naval and aviation armed forces of Australia, Leader of the Opposition Labor Party the Hon Bill Shorten, former Premier Mr Paul Keating, Director of the War Memorial Museum Mr Brendon Nelson, representatives of Australian organisations of war veterans and representatives of the Diplomatic Corps attended the ceremony and laid wreaths.
 
In the name of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, the commemoration was attended by the Officer of the Embassy Zoran Pavlicic and Charge d’Affaires a.i. Zoran Marinkovic, who on behalf of the Embassy laid a wreath on the memorial landmark.
