In the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Canberra, a reception was organised in the honour of marking Statehood Day of Serbia on 27 February 2014. Amongst many guests, a number of political and public officials in Australia, members of the Diplomatic Corp as well as main representatives of Serbian community from all around Australia. Most honourable guest that was attending this reception was the Speaker of the House of Representatives the Hon Bronwyn Bishop MP.
