Adhering to the principle of full transparency and maintaining the credibility of the whole action, the Embassy has thus far published all relevant details with regard to the collected funds, and this practice shall be continued in the future as well.

From an unofficial overview of realized fund-raising activities (as of June 3), that has been put together based on available published statements, declarations or indirect contact with organizers, we can conclude that the amount of funds collected is quite significant.

We firmly believe that publishing information about collected funds or executed transfers to the accounts in Serbia, or about delivery of collected help to the end users shall substantially contribute to the success of this noble joint action.

Bearing this in mind, the Embassy asks all involved organizations and individuals engaged in collecting funds for the flood victims, to publish information on the collected and transferred funds, in order to respect the principles of transparency and maintain full credibility of the joint action.

With honest gratitude to all who contributed to this humanitarian action, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Australia calls upon all people of good will to continue the joint effort, for Serbia has suffered damages of extremely high magnitude and help in coping with the aftermath of the floods is truly necessary.
