The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Commonwealth of Australia, Rade Stefanović, presented his credentials to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, David Hurley, on 01st April 2022, thus officially taking over the duty of Ambassador to this country.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and his wishes for the continued development of bilateral relations between Serbia and Australia. He expressed his desire to develop comprehensive relations and cooperation in all areas of common interest.
Governor-General David Hurley wished Ambassador Stefanović a pleasant stay and success in his diplomatic work in Australia.
The ceremony of presentation of credentials was held in the "Governor's House" in Canberra.
