Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Australia Rade Stefanović signed the condolence book, which has been opened in the Government House in Canberra. He expressed his condolences to the Royal Family, the Government and people of Australia, and the nations of the Commonwealth on the occasion of passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Ambassador Stefanović also used this occasion to talk with the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia David Hurley and his wife and offer them his condolences.

Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom was also the formal Head of State of Australia and New Zealand. (“Queen of Australia” and “Queen of New Zealand” were among her official titles.)

Ambassador Stefanović laid a wreath on the memorial of Queen Elizabeth II, located in the building of the federal Parliament of Australia.
